Yes, customers can edit products after placing an order if the order is still eligible for editing and the Order Edit feature is enabled.

Depending on the store configuration, customers may be able to:

  • Add new products to the order

  • Remove existing products

  • Replace products with different items

  • Modify product quantities

Order modifications are only available for eligible orders and must comply with Shopify's order editing capabilities.

Once an order has been fulfilled or no longer meets the configured editing requirements, product changes will no longer be available.
