Yes, customers can update their shipping address after placing an order if the order is still eligible for editing.

Customers can modify the shipping address only for orders that have not yet been fulfilled. Once an order has been fulfilled, the shipping address can no longer be changed through the Order Edit feature.

The ability to change the shipping address may also depend on:

  • Order fulfillment status

  • Store configuration

  • Shopify order editing limitations

  • Rules configured within the Order Edit feature

If an order has already been fulfilled or order editing is disabled, customers will not see the option to update their shipping address.
